Maggie Truesdell graduated from Florida State University with her Bachelor’s in Food and Nutrition Science, and from Gardner Webb University with her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. Prior to earning her degrees, she spent years performing emergency medicine on an ambulance as an EMT, serving the residents of Mecklenburg County. After graduating from PA school, she started her career in primary care, and transitioned into pain management. She is excited to use her experience in nutrition and wellness, acute injury care, and general medicine, to provide a multi-faceted approach to improving her patient’s quality of life.
